Here the game is well advanced. Black is just about to make a devastating move: h3 - h6. This move captures THREE white pieces in one go, namely, the ones on g6, h7 and i6. Remember, if the King had still been sitting on his throne at f6, the white warrior on g6 would have been safe, but since the King has moved away, the warrior can be captured between the black warrior and the throne square.

Because black captures three white warriors with this move, it can be recorded like this:

h3 - h6 xxx.

Nice move! ... or is it? With the white warriors on h7 and i6 gone, white is likely to move the King c7 - i7. This gets him to a strong position.
